Connect the pump using the fittings supplied with the Mixer. Different
fittings should be ordered separately.
The chemical is taken from Mixer tank via vacuum as produced by the
Venturi pump under the very device.
The mixer outlet, draining in the tank, must be connected
to the Ø 40 mm fitting (original equipment) or Ø 50 mm
fitting (upon request) through pipes tightened with suitable
clamps.
Outlet pressure at hose tail Ø 40 mm, towards tank loading,
are as follows:
- 0,2 bars with nozzle inlet pressure of 2 bars;
- 0,3 bars with nozzle inlet pressure of 3 bars;
- 0,4 bars with nozzle inlet pressure of 4 to 8 bars.

5 USE
All mixing and cleaning operations should be carried out
when the Mixer is closed.
Should it not be possible, wear all required personal protec
-
tive equipment and comply with all safety instructions as
specified onto the pesticide container.
OPERATING THE MANUAL VALVES ON MIXER SIDE WHEN
THE COVER IS OPEN MAY CAUSE SERIOUS ACCIDENTS.
ARAG IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES TO PE
-
OPLE AND ANIMALS OR DAMAGES TO OBJECTS CAU
-
SED EITHER BY IMPROPER OR INCORRECT USE OF THE
MIXER OR FAILURE TO OBSERVE GIVEN SAFETY MEASU-
RES.
NEVER leave the Mixer unguarded while feeding water
through one or more valves.
Before starting mixing, position the Mixer following the directions given
by the farming machine manufacture.

Start the pump deviating the flow towards Mixer delivery at the same
time (Fig. 4),
make sure to comply with flowrate/pressure values
listed in the nozzle tables (tables 2a ÷ 2c).
WARNING: Granular products require an inlet pressure of at
least 4 bars.
Since a large quantity of chemical product must be filled, it is
possible to pour the product directly in the Mixer with the lid
open during draining, with the valve (yellow lever C) open and the
Mixer valve open (Fig. 4) until the fluid is completely transferred
into the tank.
If a standard amount of chemical is needed, follow the procedure
described below:
-
WITH CLOSED LID, pour about five liters of water and lift the
yellow lever
(
C
,
Fig. 5);
- Open the cover and add the required amount of chemical.
If all the chemical product has been used, flush the container:
- Place the chemical product container upside-down on the internal jet,
inserting it as much as possible in the container flushing nozzle (Fig. 6a);
