Cleaning
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before you clean the
appliance.
►
Under no circumstances may you immerse the appliance in water
when cleaning it, or hold it under running water.

Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it!
WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Do not use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents! They could
irreparably damage the upper surfaces!
1) Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
2) Allow the appliance to cool down.
3) Empty the water tank

4) Clean the appliance, the water tank

and the accessories with a moist
cloth. For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth.
Scale removal
1) Place descaler suitable for household appliances with water into the water
tank

. Pay heed to the instructions given by the manufacturer of the descal-
er. Never fi ll the water tank

with more water than to the MAX marking.
2) Place the switch “Anti-calc Function”

at the position “I”.
3) Replace the water tank

back onto the appliance.
4) Remove the tip of the steam nozzle

, in that you use a coin or similar to
unscrew the tip.
5) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
6) Hold the appliance over a sink and press and hold the steam lever

down.
After a short time (about 1.5 minutes) hot water drips from the steam nozzle

7) When the water from the water tank

is depleted and there is no more water
in the appliance, release the steam lever

. Check to ensure that the water
with the descaler is completely used up. For this, tilt the appliance forwards.

and place the switch “Anti-calc Function”

10) Wait until the appliance has cooled down and then screw the tip of the
steam nozzle
