To extend the optimal functioning of the appliance, mix the mains water with
distilled water as per the following table.

ing on the water tank points to the open lock
on the appliance.

Thereby, ensure that the hose that sucks the water up is always lying in the
front area of the water tank

some water will remain in the water tank

Taking the appliance into use
1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket. The red control lamp

glows.
2) As soon as the appliance is ready for use the green control lamp

starts to
glow - the red control lamp

continues to glow.
NOTICE

During the heating up period it can happen that there is an occasional
escape of steam from the steam nozzle

3) Press the steam lever

downwards. The pump pumps water into the heater
element, steam is generated and exits from the steam nozzle

. Should the
steam blast subside, continue to hold the steam lever

down. More water
is pumped in and after a short time the steam vapour level increases.
NOTICE

If water drips from the steam nozzle

during operation, release the
steam lever

. The appliance must fi rst heat up again. Wait until the green
control lamp

glows again..
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

Should you leave the switched on appliance unused for an extended
period, although the steam lever

is not pressed it can happen that steam
escapes!
