PURPOSE AND PROPERTIES
High output garden pumps PFN 10000 PLUS, PFN 15000 PLUS, PFN 20000 PLUS and
PFN 25000 PLUS are designed for pumping water in garden ponds, fountains, cascades
and garden swimming pools. They can also be used for other purposes, e.g. in horticul-
ture, household and farms, in fish breeding and keeping other animals, at construction
sites, etc. The pumps are resistant to influence of sea water. Ceramic impeller shaft practi-
cally does not wear and provides for long life of the device. The pump can be completely
submersed in the tank or it can be placed outside the tank.
In case of particularly difficult conditions of operation (e.g. if the impeller is stopped or
revolves with an effort, or the inlet or outlet is blocked with impurities) the electronic con-
troller of the pump will stop it and make consecutive attempts to turn it on again. There-
fore, if the pump does not start to work properly, it should be turned off and cleaned.
The relatively small pumps provide high output and maximum head (see “Specification”).
Thanks to simple construction their service is easy.
CONDITIONS OF SAFE USAGE
The PFN 10000 PLUS, PFN 15000 PLUS, PFN 20000 PLUS and PFN 25000 PLUS pumps
are manufactured according to all safety standards currently in force. The pumps can be
connected to the power grid only through a socket with protection. The plug should be
connected to the socket in a dry place. A differential switch of leakage current 30 mA
must be installed in the electric network. Prior to any operation concerning the pump
(installation, maintenance) the plug should be removed from the socket! The pump can
be used in swimming pools under condition that no one is in the water. A pump that
is mechanically damaged e.g. has a cracked casing or if its power cord is damaged cannot
be installed. Any kind of switch or plug connector must not be installed on the connection
cord. If the power cord of the electronic controller is damaged, it should be replaced with
a new one of the same parameters. Only pump manufacturer’s service is authorized to do
that. In case the cord connecting the pump with the electronic controller is damaged, the
entire pump should be replaced.
The PFN 10000 PLUS, PFN 15000 PLUS, PFN 20000 PLUS and PFN 25000 PLUS pumps
can only be used for liquids of temperature up to 35 °C. Inflammable materials or food
articles cannot be pumped with these pumps.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person re-
sponsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
CAUTION : Other special regulations can apply to usage of pumps in swimming pools, fish
and garden ponds and fountains in different countries.

INSTALLATION AND START-UP
The pump can be completely submerged on the tank bottom or it can be set outside of
the tank (fig. 2). Maximum submersion depth is 3 m.
The pump base can be set directly on the bottom or it can be permanently mounted with
screws to a bigger, stable base.
In case of using the pump submerged in water, it is necessary to use all of the suctions
covers and the plug (1, 10 and 11). They prevent entering of particles that are too big.
