Peg out the bivvy starting with the aluminium rings either side of the centre

seam at the rear of the Atom, using the ground sheet as a guide.

Pull the ribs forward and insert two pegs through the rings either side of the

front door. On flat ground use the centre rings, the bottom rings on ground

sloping away from you and the top ring on ground sloping up.

Now go around the Atom and place one peg in every peg ring. To ensure a taut

ground sheet, as you peg out your Atom insert the peg through both the

aluminium ring of the bivvy and that of the ground sheet. The draft skirt can

now be tucked under the ground sheet.

The ground sheet is slightly oversized to allow for uneven ground, so do not put

excessive force on the material of the Atom while pegging out. The ground

sheet is only a rough guide and adjustments can be made in any direction at

the end of the process.

Finally the small frame support (supplied) should be installed between the

front pole and the rear pole.

The door is fitted with two-way zips so it may be opened from the top or

bottom. The door is longer than the bivvy so it can act as draft skirt and be

tucked under the ground sheet.

The door on the atom has a unique feature whereby it can be used to create

a small porch in inclement weather. To use this feature you will require two

storm rods (not supplied). Attach the storm rods by sandwiching the brass

eyelet found half way down the door between the top of the storm rod and the

brass caps (supplied). The ring on the top of the cap can be used for guy ropes

in windy conditions. The bottom section of the door can be folded underneath

and the two pop studs keep this portion of the door secured.
