SLIDING GATES

NOTES FOR USERS AND MAINTENANCE

4.

TECHNICIANS

†

Compliance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC:
when you have installed the equipment, you must
complete a Declaration of Conformity and a
Scheduled Maintenance Plan in compliance with
the directive and then hand over copies of these
documents to the user.

Emergency operations (release)

4.1

In the event of failure or a blackout, release the operator
and operate the gate by hand

(adequate thrust force is

necessary).

 Procede as follows:

CUT OFF THE GENERAL POWER SWITCH;

•

open the cabinet door using the relevant key;

•

turn of around 90° the release lever which is fi xed on the

•

drum mounted on the gear slow shaft, until the fi rst  light
release

(fi g.12

by this way, the motor-gear slow shaft is

released from the drive shaft;
to restore normal operation, act on the lever in the opposite

•

direction to get the drum turned in the normal position;
close and re-lock the cabinet door;

•

restore the mains power supply.

•

Routine maintenance and Troubleshooting

4.2

!

Maintenance can only be carried out by skilled tech-
nicians or by an authorized service center.
Before servicing the operator, use the differential
switch to disconnect the power supply!

At regular intervals, we recommend carrying out regular
checks by specialised personnel, as given in the maintenance
manual issued by the installer.

Aprimatic S.p.A.

recommends

le maintenance listed in

Tab.2

.

In case of problems consult the guide in

Tab.3.

Residual risks

4.3

These motors are designed so that no residual risks are
present; the installer must integrate the system with the
necessary safety devices to protect people and property.
Although the cabinet door is open, the automation can start,
therefore it is always necessary disconnect the power supply
before working inside the door.
Take care when the gate is opening as there is a risk of
injury of hands or other parts of the body in the operating
area of the operator gear.
