Diagnosis guide

Minimum oil pressure warning light on with hot engine.

CONTINUE - go to point 2

2 -

Remove the electric connector of the minimum pressure switch.

Check that the warning light turns off.

YES - go to point 3 NO go to point 11

3 -

Check the actual oil pressure.

CONTINUE - go to point 4

4 -

Remove the switch and fit the specific tool with the relevant gasket.

- Remove the dipstick with the oil filler plug and insert a plug with the temperature probe supplied with

the specific tool. Insert the probe to feel contact with the crankcase bottom and pull back a few milli-

metres.
