INSPECTION

NOTE

Visually inspect all components for distortion,

damage, cracking and denting. Replace any damaged
components.

ROLLER BEARINGS

Rotate the roller cages manually. They must rotate smoothly,
with no hardness or noise.
There should be no end float.
Replace any roller cages that do not meet these
requirements.
Apply grease to the bearing rollers; see

1.8.1

SEALS

Check the condition of the seals. Replace any damaged or
worn seals.
