BEFORE FIRST USE
BEFORE THE FIRST COOKING ON STEAM, IT IS NEEDED TO POUR COLD WATER
INTO THE WATER RESERVOIR, TO PLACE BASKETS AND THE LID, AND TO COOK FOR
ONE HOUR REFILLING WATER AS NECESSARY. THEN IT IS NEEDED TO OUTPOUR
REMAINING WATER, TO POUR FRESH WATER, TO PUT FOOD INTO THE BASKETS, TO
CLOSE THE LID AND TO BEGIN NORMAL OPERATION.
•
Clean thoroughly all parts which come into direct contact with food.
USING “VITA MENU INOX” FOOD STEAMER
In order to refill water while the steamer is operating, use specially designed external water fill area
(8), on both sides of which are two inlets providing water to the water reservoir. Do not fill the
steamer with water above MAX level.
•
The appliance should be placed on a flat surface from afar objects, which are likely to be steam
damaged.
•
The reservoir should be filled with water to maximum level.

ADVICE: Taste intensity can be increased by adding white wine or chicken broth to the water
reservoir (3). In order to avoid plastic staining do not use: beer, red wine, olive oil or fruit
juice.

Drip tray (5) should be mounted on the water reservoir (see picture on p.3 ).
•
Then place the steam basket on the appliance and put the food.
•
In order to properly assembly the following steam baskets go by assembly picture on page nr 3.
Close the lid.
•
Connect the appliance to the source of power and start the work by choosing the appropriate
time on 60-minutes timer (7). (See chapter „Cooking time table”).
•
Light indicator turns on red.
•
The alarm built in 60-minutes timer activates after the work completion.
ADVICE: For proper 60-minutes timer (7) operation in terms of 0-15 minutes time, turn the timer
knob over 15 minutes and turn back to the required time.

•
If the cooking time of the dish various ingredients varies greatly, firstly, put in the steam basket
the products of longer cooking time and cover with the lid. Operating time should be set so that
after a run out of time difference, other steam baskets with the rest of products could be added.
•
To cook meat, fish, poultry, use a steam basket placed next to the base. This will ensure juices
leaking directly into the drip tray.
•
In order to optimize the rice cooking, use the rice bowl (2) placed in the steam basket . If meat
and rice are cooked at the same time, the bowl (2) with rice should be set in the steam basket
above meat.
