Step 6.1: Install TPMS bracket

    A. Attach the provided TPMS bracket to the rear of the cab in your previously selected location. Be 

        sure the TPMS antenna will protrude below the bottom of the cab 

Step 6.2: Attach TPMS antenna to bracket

    A. Loom TPMS cable enough to reach to cab access hole.

    B. Attach the TPMS antenna cable to the bracket and tighten.

 

 

TIGHTEN: Finger tight + 1 turn

    C. Attach the TPMS antenna onto the cable then carefully tighten.

 

 

TIGHTEN: Finger tight + 1/4 turn, until snug.

 

  The  TPMS  antenna 

must be oriented pointing DOWN-

WARD to ensure good reception 

from the TPMS sensors.

TPMS CABLE ROUTING GUIDELINES

•  Do not bend or stretch antenna cables too tightly when routing.

•  A

 

minimum bend radius of 1" for TPMS

 

must not be violated to prevent signal transmission issues. 

•  When routing the cables avoid sharp edges that may cut or abraid the cable or heat sources that may melt the cable.

•  Do not use adhesive cable tie mounts on curved surfaces. Only attach them to clean, flat surfaces.

SECTION 6. MOUNT TPMS Antenna

 

 Test fit the TPMS antenna prior to attaching bracket 

to make sure it  will protrude past the bottom of the cab and will 

not contact anything, even when cab airbags are deflated.

TIGHTEN:

Finger tight + 1 turn 

with 5/8" wrench

TIGHTEN:

Finger tight + 1/4 turn 

with pliers
