Safety instructions
Caution!
•
Only use the device with a residual current circuit breaker with a tripping rated current of up to
30 mA (according to VDE 0100 parts 702 and 738).
•
This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions from him or
her on how to use the device.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
•
During operation, the temperature is between 200
℃
and 480
℃
. This could cause injury or
damage to equipment in the work area if the soldering station is not handled carefully.
•
Please observe the following principles when working with the device:

After opening the package, check whether each individual part of the device is in good
condition and whether there is any visible transport damage. If there is obvious damage,
do
not
use the device, but
immediately
contact your dealer!
◦
Switch off the device and pull out the power plug when moving the device.
◦
Avoid exposing parts of the device to excessive mechanical stress (knocks, blows, etc.).
Caution!
•
Perform a visual inspection of the device before each use. Do not use the device if safety de-
vices are damaged or worn. Never override safety devices.
•
Only use the device for the purpose specified in these operating instructions.
•
You are responsible for the safety in the work area.
•
If the cable or the plug is damaged due to external influences, the cable must not be repaired,
but must be replaced with a new one.
•
The voltage of 230 V AC indicated on the nameplate of the device must correspond to the ex-
isting mains voltage.
•
Never lift, transport or suspend the device by the power cord.
•
Make sure that the electrical plug connections are protected from flooding and moisture.
•
Before working on the device, pull out the mains plug.
•
Avoid exposing the device to direct water jets.
•
The operator is responsible for compliance with local safety and installation regulations. You
may ask a qualified electrician.
•
If the device fails, repairs should only be carried out by a qualified electrician. No responsibility
is accepted for damage caused by improper repair or maintenance.
