FUNCTION
OVERVIEW

The
EAN
ESP
unit
works
to
filter
grease
and
smoke
particles
within
the
kitchen
exhaust.
Note:
The
EAN
ESP
unit
works
the
most
efficiently
when
a
suitable
preliminary
grease
filter
is
located
within
the
kitchen
exhaust
hood.
AOM
recommends
the
use
of
AOM
Stainless
Steel
Honeycomb
Filters
which
have
been
tested
to
meet
the
requirements
of
AS1668.2
‐
2012
section
E5
regarding
“
not
deemed
combustible”
material
in
accordance
with
section
AS1530.1
.
The
filters
have
also
been
tested
to
act
as
a
flame
barrier,
thus
stopping
cooking
flames
from
reaching
flammable
grease
build
up
within
kitchen
exhaust
hoods
and
ducting.
