After any operation, return the monitor to the standby position by
completing the following steps.

1. Turn off main water supply.

2. If operated manually, complete steps 

a and b.

a. Realign  hole  in  monitor  base  with  hole  in  chain  sprocket.

Insert release pin fully into aligned holes to engage monitor
base  to  oscillating  mechanism  (2  in.  pin  engagement  for
WOM-3 monitor/3 1/2 in. engagement for WOM-4 monitor).

b. Return  selector  valve  handle  to  RUN  position  (pointed  to

back of enclosure).

3. Using  handwheel  (WOM-4)  or  tiller  bar  (WOM-3),  return

monitor  to  desired  elevation.  On  WOM-3  monitors,  tighten
speed ball handle.

4. Clean filter element as indicated in Step 2 on Page 9.

5. Replace  any  broken  or  missing  visual  inspection  seals  at

release  pin,  selector  valve  handle,  WOM-4  elevation  hand-
wheel, or WOM-3 speed ball handle.
