Water is running
out of the fan
The water in the drainage tube is too
cold and condensing.
Insulate the drain pipe with pipe
insulation.
The drainage hose is clogged or
broken.
Replace the drainage hose.
The connections to the incoming/
outgoing pipes are not tightly
sealed.
Rectify the pipe connectors.
The end of the drainage tube is
situated above the condensation
plate inside the fan.
Make sure that the drainage hose’s
drain end is situated lower than the
fan’s lower edge.
The fan is leaning substantially.
Straighten the fan.
Vibrations and/
or noise
The fan’s motor bearing is poorly
lubricated or broken.
Lubricate the bearing or replace the
fan motor.
The fan blade is dirty or damaged.
Clean the fan blade or replace it.
The fan is striking against the
chassis.
Rectify the incorrectly adjusted fan
blade or replace the fan motor.
The fan runs too quickly.
Set the fan on low or medium speed.
The fan motor is loose.
Tighten the fan motor securely.
The slats in front of the air
output are loose.
Tighten the slats.
