• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• This convector fan can be used with heating and ventilation systems in public
and private buildings as well as in residential homes.
• The convector fan should be installed, tested and maintained by a technician
with a good understanding of national regulations and experience with this
kind of product.
• Check that the fan’s rated voltage (located on the type plate) is in accordance
with the
building’s electrical system before initiating connection as per the wiring
diagram.
• The convector fan must be earthed in order to avoid dangerous situations in
the case
of defective insulation.
• Check that the fan has been turned off before beginning installation or
maintenance.
• The fan may not be used in environments where inflammable substances are
present or positioned where there is a major risk of corrosion.
• Remove the plug when the fan is not going to be used for some time.
• Check that the fan’s air intake and air outlet are unobstructed and clear of
blockages.
