2-9 Application Interface – Main Menu Tab
The
PVS Application Interface
dialog box displays three tabs with configuration, control, and serial number
information. Each tabbed dialog box contains buttons to control program operations as outlined in the
following sections below.
• The
Setup Menu
tab is described in Section 2-6, “Application Interface – Setup Menu Tab” on page 2-10 .
• The
Main Menu
tab display is described in the section immediately following and is shown below in
Figure 2-35
• The
Serial Number
tab is described in Section 2-10, “Application Interface – Serial Number Tab
Functions” on page 2-28 .
Whenever the program is executing a command from the main menu, the buttons are disabled, due to the
event-driven nature of the Windows Operating System, until the current command is finished. While a
command is being executed, informational messages are usually displayed on the screen to aid the operator in
understanding which steps the application is performing.
