IMPORTANT NOTICE:
To avoid malfunctions or damage, please observe the following points:
1. Clean the machine thoroughly and then oily before using it for the first time.
2. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the engine rating plate. If
not, do not put the machine into operation at all.
3. When operating the machine, the hand wheel must be rotated towards the operator; If this
is not the case, switch off the engine.
4. Do not exceed 3/4 of the maximum machine speed in the first two weeks.
5. Always set the threaded lever to its highest position before removing the seam.
Safety instructions:
1. The machine may only be used for its intended purpose. When adjusting for other designs,
all applicable safety regulations must be observed.
2. The operation of the machine without protective equipment provided by the factory is not
permitted.
3. The machine may only be switched on and operated by a properly instructed person
(operator).
4. When replacing sewing tools, such as needles, presser foot, stitch plates, feeders and coils,
when leaving the workplace and during maintenance work, the machine must first be
switched off by mains switch or disconnected from the mains.
5. Work on wiring may only be carried out by electricians or by appropriately instructed
persons.
