2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Do not put the sewing machine into operation until proper training is provided by an expert or
qualified person and unless you are familiar with safety precautions.
1. Every sewing machine may only be operated by properly trained personnel.
2. Consider the applicable safety regulations of your country.
3. The sewing machine may only be used for the activity for which it is intended. Other uses are
not permitted.
4. All safety precautions must be observed on the machine prior to commissioning or
operation.
5. Protective glasses are recommended for personal safety.
6. If modifications or changes are made to the machine, safety regulations must be followed.
Adjustments are only made on your own responsibility.
7. For the following work, the main switch of the machine must be switched off or the fork
must be pulled out of the power socket (use mechanically operated clutch motors without a
trip fuse to wait until the engine stops):
a) When threading the needles (needles), hooks, etc.,
b) When changing needles, presser foot, stitch plates, hooks, hooks, feeders, needle shields,
fingers, work conductors, etc.,
c) When leaving the workplace and leaving the workplace unattended.
d) Machine maintenance (during cleaning).
8. Repairs, maintenance and servicing of machines may only be carried out by an expert or a
qualified person. For repairs, only spare parts from the machine manufacturer must be used.
9. Work on the electrical installation of the machine may be carried out by an
electromechanician or under the supervision and control of a qualified person.
10. Work on parts and equipment under power is not permitted.
11. Before the maintenance and repair of pneumatic equipment, it is necessary to disconnect
the compressed air source. Residual compressed air must be drained before work starts.
12. It is the responsibility of the user if the safety measures in the operating instructions are not
observed.
13. Instructions for the use of the respective drive are an integral part of these operating
instructions and must be observed when working. In particular, "Security instructions".
