1. To remove the battery from the bike, insert the
supplied key.
2. Turn the key to the right.
3. Slowly draw the battery towards you until the
connector leaves its position.
4.2 - Storing the battery
Stock your battery and the charger out of the reach of children.
Store the battery indoors, in a dry, fresh environment away from any intense light source (full sun exposition, for
instance) or water point.
• Avoid proximity to heat sources.
• Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 40°C and below -20°C.
• When charging is complete, it is recommended that the charger be disconnected from the battery.
Ensure that the battery has completed a full charge/discharge cycle at least once every two months even when not
in use.
IF THE BATTERY IS USED TOO INFREQUENTLY (ONLY ONCE EVERY 2 MONTHS),
ITS CAPACITY WILL DECREASE MUCH FASTER THAN IF IT IS USED REGULARLY.
THE BATTERY’S ENERGY COMES FROM A CHEMICAL REACTION, WHICH NEEDS TO BE
ACTIVATED REGULARLY ENOUGH TO MAINTAIN ITS EFFICIENCY.
• Do not leave your battery
completely discharged
for more than 3 days because this could damage it.
•
If not used for a long time, the battery should be stored with a charge ranging ideally from 60% to 80%.
Only use a
moist cloth
to clean the battery.
4.3 - Cleaning the battery
From your Angell Bike app and the in-built system, you can visualize the battery charge status at any time. Even
if your battery has a protection system to prevent it from going into deep discharge, the ideal is to recharge the
battery before it is completely empty.
• Only use the charger supplied with your battery to recharge it. Any other non-adapted charger could result
in an accident.
• Do not ever recharge your battery when it rains or somewhere damp.
• Always be certain of the charger compatibility with the local power grid.
4.4 - Recharging the battery
