Removing the grounds
1. Slide the porta fi lter into the porta fi lter support (11) un l it reaches the
stop.
2. Pull the dispensing lever (9) as far forward as possible to dispense the
co ff ee grounds into the porta fi lter (see Fig. J / K ).
3. Repeat step 2 as necessary un l the quan ty of co ff ee grounds required
is in the porta fi lter.
4. Grinder variants with tamper:
Pull the porta fi lter forward into the porta fi lter support un l it is centered
under the tamper (14) .
5. Push the tamper knob (15) down to compress the co ff ee grounds in the
porta fi lter (see Fig. L ).
The quan ty of ground co ff ee that is released each me the
dispensing lever is used can be set individually (see “Se ng the
dispensing quan ty” sec on).
6. Then pull the porta fi lter forward out of the porta fi lter support.
The dispensing counter (16) is used to read the number of shots
dispensed from the dispensing chamber (see Fig. C / D ).
Se ng the dispensing quan ty
1. Remove the lid from the dispensing chamber (3) from above.
2. Fix the dispensing insert (22) in place by holding it to the mast (under the
adjus ng wheel) with one hand (see Fig. M ).
3. Turn the adjus ng wheel for the dispensing quan ty:
• counterclockwise to increase the dispensing quan ty.
• clockwise to reduce the dispensing quan ty.
The dispensing quan ty increases or reduces by approx. 0.1–0.2 g
per complete revolu on of the adjus ng wheel.
4. Let go of the dispensing insert and check that the dispensing quan ty is
set correctly by dispensing 2–3 shots into a porta fi lter
(see “Removing the grounds” sec on).
5. Repeat steps 2–4 as necessary un l you have set the dispensing quan ty
required.
6. Place the lid back onto the dispensing chamber.
