18. DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLE PROCEDURE
CAUTION! BEFORE DISASSEMBLY, FULLY CLEAN FLUID PASSAGES.
B
FLUID NEEDLE (2-1) _ DISASSEMBLE FLUID NEEDLE ONLY WHEN STRICTLY NECESSARY.
Unscrew fluid adjustment knob, extract the spring (11) and fluid needle set (2-1), from the back of fluid adj. guide
set (10) still assembled on the gun body.
NEEDLE SPRING (11) ASSEMBLY: When you assemble the
needle spring (11) on the fluid needle (2-1), the plastic tip
(11-1) should be on the opposite side as the fluid needle tip.
If plastic tip is on the wrong side, it may not operate correctly.
Incorrect installation of the needle spring (11) may cause a
heavy trigger pull.

FLUID NOZZLE SET
(2):
Disassemble: air cap set (1) and fluid nozzle
(2), while keeping fluid needle (2-1) pulled
(triggering) in order to protect its seat sec-
tion. Use the enclosed spanner to disassem-
ble the fluid nozzle (size Hex.19 mm).
CAUTION!
WHEN REASSEMBLING THE FLUID NOZZLE FIX IT
IN TO THE POSITION WHERE THE ORIENTATION
OF ITS SLITS ARE ALIGNED WITH THE SPRAY GUN
BODY AT 90°.

AIR VALVE SHAFT
(14) DISASSEMBLY: To disassemble air valve shaft
(14), unscrew air valve seat set (7) by using hex. 10 mm Allen wrench
(not included). IMPORTANT! Before to reassemble it, fasten the air valve
shaft (14) to air valve seat set (7).
G
PATTERN ADJ. SET (5) AND AIR ADJ. SET (15)
In order to disassemble pattern adj. set (5) and/or air adj. set (15) first
of all, unscrew countersunk head screw (6) size Torx T10 and remove
adjustment knob (5) by pulling out carefully.
Then manually turn the hexagon knob (F1) of the adjustment counter-
clockwise to open it completely and unscrew the hexagon face (F2) by a
spanner turning it counter-clockwise.
IMPORTANT: Before reassembling the pattern adj. set (5) and/or air adj.
set (15), make sure that these operations are always carried out with the
adjustment completely open.
F
SELF ADJUSTING NEEDLE PACKING SET Optional
(93001410)

AIR VALVE SET (8) DISASSEMBLY: To disassemble air valve (8), unscrew
the fluid adj. guide set (10) by using spanner included (size Hex. 13 mm),
remove air valve spring (9) and air valve set (8).
AIR VALVE (8) ASSEMBLY: assemble air valve (8), air valve spring (9) and
fluid adj. guide set (10) together. Next, insert fluid needle set (2-1) into
fluid adj. guide set (10), fit it to gun body set and screw fluid adj. guide
set (10).
IMPORTANT!
If you try to fit air valve spring (9) and air valve (8) to gun
body set without fluid needle set (2-1) assembled, air valve (8) will not
be fitted correctly and the packing in the fluid adj. guide set (10) will be
damaged.
E
NEEDLE PACKING SET (3): The adjustment of the needle packing set
(3) must always be done while the fluid needle set is already inserted in
it and in the following way: first tightening the needle packing by hand
and then by the enclosed spanner
(
about a 60 degree turn). ATTENTION!
When you remove needle packing set, do not leave the plastic tip of the
packing in the spray gun body. After replacing of needle packing set (3)
try to adjust it carefully while pulling the trigger and confirming smooth
movement of the fluid needle. If you tighten the needle packing set too
much, fluid needle will not move smoothly, resulting in paint leakage from
tip of the fluid nozzle.
