START-UP SEQUENCE
When the C16 power switch is activated, a number of messages are sequentially
displayed. Note that the display always has a row of text across the bottom. The four switches
on the front panel are called “soft switches” because they have different functions depending on
what mode of operation the unit is in. The text just above each switch indicates what that switch
will do when pressed. The following is the display sequence at startup. The sample displays use
ammonia as an example, but the gas symbols, range, and setpoint information will depend on
what sensor module is installed. Pressing the NEXT key will step to the next display. Pressing
the SKIP key will jump directly to D10. Holding down the HOLD key will stop the scroll at the
current display.
