INTERFERENCES
Individual gas sensors respond to other gases or vapors in various ways. Some sensors
are very specific, exhibiting very little cross-sensitivity with other gases. Other sensors are not as
selective, and will respond to a variety of gases if present. Refer to the tables on the following
pages for data on the response of ATI gas sensors to other gases that might be present.
Sensors are listed across the top of the table with the relative response listed below. For
example, an SO
2
sensor exposed to 1 PPM of HCN would produce a reading of 0.15 PPM. See
notes at the end of the interference tables for other comments.
