Keypad Interface - CD Control
The CD Control page (FIG. 40) displays some basic transport functions for the CD player.
Selecting the transport causes that transport function to be executed. It also has a CD LIST option.
Selecting this option allows you to scroll through a list of sorted titles. Pressing this button takes
you to the CD Sort page (FIG. 41).

Doing a listing of CD titles on a DMS keypad is not without its limitations. For instance, the DMS
can only display 6 titles at a time. Because the system can support several hundred or more titles, it
would be painful to scroll from title 1 to title 300 in groups of 6. To reduce the amount of scrolling
required an intermediate screen is displayed.
The CD Sort page screen allows you to skip over titles and narrow the search. Since titles are
always displayed in alphabetical order, each selection in the list jumps you to the title beginning
with that letter. For example, if you select, E - I the first group of titles displayed are those starting
