Adding a CD to the Media Library Manually

CDDB servers, or if you do not have access to the CDDB servers). In these cases, you can enter
disc information manually:
1.
Insert the CD in your PCs drive.
2.
Select
Media Library > Add Disc
(or click the toolbar button) to invoke the Disc Type dialog.
3.
Select
Add a new CD
and click
OK
. This opens an empty
Disc Properties
dialog.
4.
Enter the CD information as desired:
Enter the
CD Title
,
Artist
and
Genre
information in the top three fields. You can enter
multiple artist and genre names, separated by commas.
Enter a text description of the CD in the Summary field.
If you receive the message: "Failed to retrieve CDDB sites!", you may need to
configure your CDDB options, via the CDDB Settings dialog.
Unlike CDs, DVDs do not utilize an online database for disc identification. All DVDs
must be manually added to the Media Library.
Hold down the Shift key to prevent the disc from auto-playing, if necessary.
The information in all fields in this dialog is optional, but it recommended that you
enter as much information as possible to facilitate searches and disc information
displays.
