Replacing the Lithium Batteries

Color Passive-Matrix LCD Touch Panels

6. 

Remove the four circuit card spacers.

7. 

Carefully pry one battery out of its socket and insert the new battery.

8. 

Return the touch panel to the back box or equipment rack and connect the
power or AXlink connector back into the rear side of the panel for
approximately 1 minute. Then, remove the connector from the panel again.

9. 

Flip the touch panel facedown onto a soft cloth and carefully remove the other
battery out of its socket and insert the new battery.

10. 

Return the touch panel to the back box or equipment rack and reconnect all the
connectors.

11. 

Insert the four mounting screws and tighten.

12. 

Place the engraved overlay onto the touch panel's bezel.
