Changing delay line modes and their indications with TAP /
SET button
TDD-3 delay line has two operation modes:
1.
SET
-manual adjustment of delay time.
2.
TAP
-quick adjustment of delay time (foot timing).
Each mode is indicated by corresponding color (p.7): in
SET - RED
, in
TAP -
GREEN
. During operation the indicator’s blink intervals are equal to the set delay
time.
The selection of the necessary operating mode is done by means of TAP / SET
button (p.8). Switching between the modes is cyclical - TAP – SET
– TAP –
SET… etc..
To change mode from TAP
to SET
push TAP/SET button and hold it for1-1.5 s
(8) or change the position of D.TIME control (1) , the indicator color (7) will change
from green to red. In SET mode delay line will change the signal delay in
accordance with time selected by D.TIME (1). The delayed and the number of its
repetitions will correspond to the settings of E.LEVEL (2)and F.BACK (6)
accordingly.
To change mode from SET to
TAP
briefly push TAP / SET (8), the indicator color
will change from red to
green
. In TAP mode you can quickly changed the delay
time by means of foot timing.
To do this push TAP / SET button twice (8) with the interval equal to the necessary
delay time. After the first push the indicator (7) will turn red-green (the device is
waiting for the second push) after the second one indicator (7) will blink blink green
again (the device will accept the signal delay interval ). If by any reason the second
push on TAP / SET button (8) does not happen for 3.35 s (the maximum possible
delay time), the device will return to previous settings in this mode. The delayed
signal level and number of its repetitions, like in SET mode, will correspond to the
values set by E.LEVEL (.2) and F.BACK controls (6) accordingly.
Changing modes and indication parameters by means of BYPASS
button.
BYPASS
(9) button enables switching between “EFFECT” AND “BYPASS” modes.
Modes change cyclically “EFFECT” – “BYPASS”
– “EFFECT” – … etc. In
“EFFECT” mode the indicator (10) is red meaning that the output signal is being
processed. In “BYPASS” mode the indicator (10) is off and both output signals (
А
and
В
) are unchanged.

(12) located on the rear panel of the device,
you can select combinations of signals fed to the outputs during the delay line
operation. Possible combinations of output signals related to A-DIR / A+DIR switch
position are shown in Table 1.

4.
Replace the bottom cover and secure it in place by means of the 4
(four) fastening screws.
AUDIO CONNECTIONS AND SWITCHING.
CAUTION! All connections are to be carried out only
when the power of the device has been SWITCHED
OFF!
Use only MONO-JACKS for TDD-3 connections.
