WARNING

Do not operate the printer with the top cover removed.

Replace in reverse order.

4.5.2: Bottom Cover Removal and Replacements - Figure 4.1

Remove top cover. (See Paragraph 4.5.1).

Remove the four screws (15, 16, 17) that secure the printer mechanism to the
bottom cover.

Lift the keypad support (4) off the support tubes (5) and set it on top of the printer
mechanism.

Lift the back of the mechanism up and slide the entire mechanism back until the
front support (36) is clear of the bottom cover.

Replace in reverse order.

Remove top cover (See Paragraph 4.5.1).

Lift keypad support (4) off support tubes (5).

Disconnect keypad from cable by pushing out on header locking tabs.

Remove six screws holding PCB to keypad support.

Replace in reverse order.

4.5.4: Electronic Chassis Removal and Replacement - Figure 4.2.

Remove top cover (see Paragraph 4.5.1).

Remove four screws (63) which secure the electronic chassis (62) to the printer
frame.

Pull the chassis (62) out only far enough to access all cable connectors.

Remove all cable connectors from the controller board (21).
