Clean the Air Filter
Pull and clean any lint material from the filter and from the heat exchanger
(behind the filter)
Close the left side panel.
Replace the Desiccant Filter
Remove top cover.
Unscrew 6 screws on side of resonator at desiccant door.
Remove desiccant pack and insert new one.
Replace the 6 screws at the desiccant door. Verify door is flush against the
resonator wall, o-ring seated properly and all screws are tight.
WARNING:
The desiccate pack must be replaced every six
months
to
prevent
moisture. Moisture will cause LBO
coating
failure.
Add Water to the Laser
WARNING:
Do not turn the laser on without water in the laser.
With the system turned off, open the cap on the fill port and add water slowly until
the reservoir is full.
Turn the system on to allow pump to run.
Continue adding water just until you see the water start to spill out of the overflow
tube.
Replace fill port cap.
System power checks in service mode.
In Applications mode verify calibration of the system.
In Applications mode verify power output per service report.
Verify Calibration:
Can be calibrated at regular intervals against the Laser power or Laser energy
actually emitted on the working area.
Attach a 600 micron fiber (flat cut). Direct the distal end of fiber into an AMS
approved, calibrated power meter.
Measure actual power displayed vs. power delivered per the following chart in
applications mode. This chart is for reference only
