Discriminating Modes
X-1 is equipped with Five main discrimination counting modes; MIX, SINGLE, FACE,
ORIENT and ISSUE modes. Furthermore, the machine provides further sorting modes to align
single or mixture of banknotes with same face or same directions or issues. For details, please refer
to the “Facing Sorting Mode” and “Orient Sorting Mode” described at P.30 - P.31.
The main
discriminating modes are changed in sequence every time the MODE key is pressed;
MIX
SINGLE
FACE
ORIENT
ISSUE (N/A for USA market)
Definition of different Discriminating Modes:
Mixed Value Mode
Counts and denominate mixture denomination of banknotes for individual and total
valuation. If a banknote failed to denominate or found to be counterfeit / suspect (if
CF mode is ON), the banknote then be sent to reject pocket.
Single Value Mode
Counts banknotes with the denomination of the first detected geniune
banknotes as the standard and delivers banknote with different denominations
and suspicious banknotes to the reject pocket.
Face Sorting Mode
Counts banknotes with the face of the first detected geniune banknotes as the
standard, and delivers banknotes with different faces and suspicious banknotes
to the reject pocket.

Orientation Sorting Mode
Counts banknotes with the orientation of the first detected geniune banknotes
as the standard, and delivers banknotes with different orientations and
suspicious banknotes to the reject pocket.

Setting Mode. Please refer to P.31.
Issue Sorting Mode (Not available for USA models)
Counts banknotes with the issue of the first detected geniune banknotes as the
standard, and delivers banknotes with different issue and suspicious banknotes
to the reject pocket.
