EXAMPLE – LOADING A RECORD FROM THE DATABASE AS A PREVIOUS TEST
FOR RE-TESTING
The procedure below outlines the steps needed to load an existing record from the database into the
audiometer to use as a baseline audiogram for a new test
a) In TEST mode erase details of the current patient (from the Patient Details page press
‘New Person’)
b) In TEST mode erase details of any current test (from the Audiogram page press
‘Erase’ and then ‘This
test’)
c) In DATABASE mode select the required previous record of the patient using the
and
keys (refer to
Section 10.3 if necessary)
d) Press
‘Get as prev’ to retrieve the patient’s previous record and load it into the Test pages as previous
data (refer to Section 10.4.1 if necessary)
e) Carry out a new
test as described in Section 5 (the new thresholds will be displayed as ‘Current’ values
on the Test Details page)
f) The new test would then normally be saved in the internal database as a new record for that patient (use
the ‘Save test’ softkey)
