Press the ‘Next Page’ softkey to access the following page within the TEST mode.

EXAMPLE – ENTERING PREVIOUS PATIENT & AUDIOGRAM DETAILS AND RE-
TESTING
The procedure below outlines the steps needed to enter the details of a new patient and a previous test (e.g.
from paper records) and then immediately perform a new test.
a) Press the TEST button to enter TEST mode
b)
Erase details of the current patient (press the ‘New Person’ softkey)
c) Enter the patient details manually on the Patient Details page ensuring that a unique patient number is
assigned (refer to Section 9.2 if necessary)
d)
Press the ‘Next page’ softkey to advance to the Audiogram page
e) Erase details of any current test (press the
‘Erase’ and then ‘This test’ softkeys)
f)
Press the ‘Next page’ softkey to advance to the Test Details page
g) Enter the examiner (if necessary), and then the threshold values from the previous test (refer to Section
9.4 if necessary);
these are entered in the “Current” columns
Please pay particular attention to the following steps
h) Once the final threshold has been entered (for example Right ear, 8kHz) pressing

cursor into the ‘Test date’ field (see below)

Enter the date of the previous test with care; if a mistake is made use ← to correct it, or if the cursor has
been moved away from this field use the

keys to reposition it in the ‘Test date’ field and re-enter
the date of the previous test
j)
Carefully check that all of the information displayed is correct and then press the ‘Save test’
softkey; the
following will then occur:
The record will be saved in the internal database with the previous test date as entered - for example
this might be considered ‘baseline’ data; the message ‘Test Saved’ will be displayed briefly before
reverting to ‘Not saved’
The threshold values will be moved into the ‘Previous’ columns (see below) and also displayed as
previous data on the Audiogram page
The patient details will be retained in the audiometer
The Test date will be set to today’s data in anticipation of an immediate re-test
