INSTALLATION AND INITIAL OPERATION
6.1
Installing the NZ100
Do not apply power or connect batterie s during this procedure.
1.
Unpack NZ100.
2.
Check for transit damage.
3.
Drill all cable access and mounting holes.
4.
Provide insulation grommet for mains entry hole
3.
Mount the unit into position.
4.
Feed cables into the unit.
5.
Connect mains cabling to the mains terminal block.
6.
Anchor incoming Mains cable with cable tie provided, through chassis holes provided.

Connect detector cabling.
6.
Connect ancillary cabling.
7.
Set links as required. See section 5.
12.
Ensure all swarf is removed from panel before applying power.
6.2
Initial Operation
1.
Switch on Mains power to the unit.
2.
Battery defect LED should illuminate after 10 seconds.
2.
Connect batteries. Press ‘RESET’, Battery defect LED should extinguish.
4.
The unit is ready for operation.
