Using the Device
When Wi-Fi hotspot is enabled, a Wi-Fi hotspot icon
will appear in the
Notification Area
. You can swipe down the icon to see the connection
information.
3.5 Using the Bluetooth Feature
Bluetooth enables the wireless connection over a short distance about 8 meters.
It is specified as a "wireless personal area network" (WPAN). The K430 is
Bluetooth-capable to synchronize data with other Bluetooth-capable devices
such as PCs, laptops, hands-free, headsets, printers, PDAs and cell phones.
Before the K430 can connect a Bluetooth device, it needs to pair with that device.
Such “pairing” involves the authentication between them to justify their accesses
to each other. Once they are paired, they stay paired unless they are unpaired.
The Status bar displays the following icons that indicate Bluetooth status.

Notifies that an open Wi-Fi network is in range.
Notifies that a Wi-Fi network is connected. Waves indicate signal strength.
