SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced pfysical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowl-
edge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and under-
stand the hazards involved.
l
Children shall not play with the appliance.
l
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
l
The surface on which the appliance is used shall be lev-
elled, clean and dry.
l
Use appliances only with specifically designated battery
packs.
l
Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury
and fire.
l
Do not insert any objects into the openings in the va-
cuum cleaner. Do not use the vacuum cleaner when any
opening is blocked, dispose of dust, lint, hair and anything
that may restrict air flow.
l
Keep hair, loose clothing parts, fingers and other body
parts away from the openings and moving parts.
l
Do not use the vacuum cleaner to collect flammable sub-
stances such as petrol, and do not use it in places where
similar substances may be present.
l
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or
burns.
l
If the liquid gets on the skin, (1) seek medical attention,
(2) wash quickly with soap and water, and (3) neutralize
with a mild acid such as lemon juice or vinegar.
l
If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately
with clean water for a minimum of 10 -Rev minutes.
l
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other
metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or
other small metal objects, that can make a connection from
one terminal to another.
l
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns
or a fire.
