Electrical connections to LMG
The HotSpot IR system is supplied
with a pre-wired cable for
connection of the thermometer to
the signal processor.
You may need to remove the
processor connector in order to run
the cable through conduit.
The cable connection schedule is
given opposite.
Alarm connections to LMG
The HotSpot IR signal processor has two alarm outputs.
Each output can be connected into
your process control system.
The alarm output connection schedule
is given opposite.
A typical use for the alarms is to set
two alarm levels:
The first (lower) alarm can be used as
a warning, with the second (higher)
alarm used to indicate a critical
condition.
The actual alarm levels will be
determined by the material being monitored.
