Wireless Digital Clock

Installation

CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

 - Disconnect and lock out power to the

electrical box before installing or servicing the clock.

Make electrical connections for the Molex cable (not wired to the clock) to

a non-switched electrical circuit wiring using UL approved wire nuts.

(black to hot, white to neutral, green to ground) Route field wiring away

from sharp projections and corners.

Connect mounting screws (not included) to the electrical box so that they

line up with the mounting holes on the back cover of the clock. Two screws

(single gang) or four screws (double gang).

These screws should not be screwed in completely, leaving room for the

clocks back cover to mount on the screws properly.

Join the two Molex connectors together, placing excess wiring and Molex

connectors into the gang box.

Mount the clocks back cover on the mounting screws added to the gang

box in Step 1.

Apply power to the circuit and confirm correct operation.

CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

 - Disconnect and lock out power to the

electrical box before installing or servicing the clock.

u

Remove the four sheet metal screws that hold the cover assembly and

enclosure base together. Be sure to keep the sheet metal screws for

 reassembly.

v

Mount the enclosure base into the wall. Opening is 12.5" x 7.4" x 3.629".

w

Run interconnecting field wires through the enclosure base.

x

Make electrical connections (hot, neutral, ground wires) to non-switched

electrical circuit wiring using UL approved wire nuts. Route field wiring

away from sharp projections, corners and internal components.

Join both Molex connectors together, placing excess wiring and Molex

connectors into the gang box.

z

Re-attach the cover assembly to the enclosure base using the sheet metal

screws removed in Step 1.

Apply power to the circuit and confirm correct operation.

CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

 - Disconnect and lock out power to the

electrical box before installing or servicing the clock.

u

For wall mount, assemble double dial clock enclosure as shown in Figure 1.

For ceiling mount, use the same assembly procedure, except use the two

knockouts that are located on the top of the wraparound (see Figure 2).

v

Depending on the orientation of the 4" square backbox, use two #8-32 x

3

/

"

screws and two #8-32 nuts for the two dummy holes in the mounting plate.

w

Run power and reset wires through conduit.

x

  Using two #8-32 x

" screws, mount double dial clock enclosure assembly to

4" square backbox (see Figure 2).

Loosen the four screws in the digital clock approximately

3

/

32

" (see Figure 2)

z

Make power and reset wire connections to the digital clock.

Slide the digital clock into the wraparound making sure the screws and slots

line up (see Figure 2), then tighten the four screws securely.

Repeat steps 5 through 7 for the second clock

n

Note:

Time format (12 or 24 hour) for American Series Wireless Digital Clocks is set in Remote Transmitter Connect. The format can be

viewed or changed in Remote Transmitter Connect under the Configuration Tab, Time Display Format 12 Hour 24 Hour.
