ADVANCED CHIPSET SETUP,

Continued

On Board Serial Port 2

This option enables serial port 2 on the motherboard. The settings are

Disabled, 2F8h,

2E8h.

The BIOS

Setup and Power-On defaults are

Disabled.

J23 on the motherboard sets the IRQ for serial port 1. Short

Pins 1-2 to select IRQ3 (the default). Short Pins 2-3 to select IRQ4. Leave J23 OPEN to disable the IRQ for
serial port 2.

On Board Parallel Port

This option enables the parallel port on the motherboard. The settings are

Disabled, 3F8h,

3E8h.

The

BIOS Setup and Power-On defaults are

Disabled.

J21 on the motherboard sets the IRQ for the onboard

parallel port. Short Pins 1-2 to select IRQ5. Short Pins 2-3 to select IRQ7 (the default). Leave J21 OPEN to
disable the IRQ for the parallel port.

This option enables the floppy controller on the motherboard. The settings are
