Step 11 Perform Initial Test and Configuration
Before powering up the system, make sure that:
_
all adapter cards are seated properly,
_
all connectors are properly seated,
_
the math coprocessor or Upgradable Processor is seated properly,
_
there are no screws or other foreign material on the motherboard,
_
the system is plugged into a surge-protected power strip, and
_
blank back panels are installed on the back of the chassis to minimize RF emissions.
