b) Cooling liquid

3.6.2 Other components
The manufacturer’s manual, section “Maintenance”, gives some information about :
- components location,
- inspection,
- electric circuits,
- transmission belts,
-
filters,
-
exchangers,
- alternative current generator.
3.7 Fuel tank and fuel filter / water separator
The tank can be inspected using 2 hatches (see
Picture 49 – Top of the tank ) to clean it.
The decanting part of the filter can be drained : if some water is at the bottom of the
Plexiglas cap, unscrew the wheel and clean it.
Replace the filtering cartridge every 500 hours (main engine hours and generator hours), or
every year, with an equivalent one (30 microns).
