6. A–ign the new g”aphics ca”d in the seconda”y PCIe s–ot next to the existing
g”aphics ca”d and p”ess fi”—–y unti– the ca”d is fu––y seated.
Tip: Fo” opti—a– pe”fo”—ance in a dua–-GPU AMD C”ossFi”e configu”ation,
—ake su”e that each AMD Radeon HD 7850/7870 g”aphics ca”d is sepa”ated
by at –east one e—pty expansion s–ot.
7. Fasten the g”aphics ca”ds secu”e–y to the back pane–.
8. Make su”e the cab–es a”e not inte”fe”ing with anything inside the co—pute” (fo”
exa—p–e, a coo–ing fan) and then ”ep–ace the co—pute” cove”.
9. Reconnect any cab–es you have disconnected and p–ug in the co—pute” powe”
co”d.

5.3 Enabling AMD CrossFire™
When AMD C”ossFi”e suppo”t is enab–ed, the best possib–e GPU co—bination is
se–ected based on the cu””ent ha”dwa”e configu”ation. If necessa”y, you can change
the existing AMD C”ossFi”e configu”ation using the fo––owing p”ocedu”e. Fo” —o”e
info”—ation, see the he–p syste— fo” the Cont”o– Cente” app–ication.
