processor performance.
2. The term “Central Processing Unit (CPU)” often refers to devices with a single processing unit. AMD uses the term
“processor” to designate a computing device that contains one or more processing units, or “cores”. The term
“multiprocessor” refers to a computer system that contains more than one core, either in a single device or in multiple
devices. The CINEBENCH benchmark and the 3DMark06 CPU benchmark can test single or multiprocessor systems.
