HOW TO READ THE LOAD CHART
The load chart shows the rated loads (kg) that the crane can lift depending on working radius (m).
The load chart applied on the crane shows the rated loads for the crane with horizontal booms; the
chart showing the whole working range is given in the Technical Sheet.
The winch load chart shows the rated loads that can be hoisted by winch only.
100% indicates that the rated loads can be lifted only if the stabilizers are fully extended.
F
max
is the maximum force that the stabilizer can impose on the ground.
B.7.8
LIFTING OPERATIONS
Before beginning the lifting operations it is necessary to make sure that:
- lifting accessories (shackles, hooks, ropes, chains, bands, etc.) have a lifting capacity greater than
the load to be lifted.
- apply hoisting cables, ropes, chains, bands to the hook so that their safety is not compromised.
- lift the loads from their center of gravity and make sure that they cannot move, slide and rotate.
- avoid sudden movements, operate the control levers gently and gradually. Do not swing the load.
- do NOT interrupt the movements suddenly, mostly when lowering and rotating the loads.
- never take loads or the crane boom above the control position.
- fully retract all hydraulic extensions before every lifting operation.
- prevent the load from colliding with the crane structure, the vehicle or obstacles nearby. It is
necessary to hold the load at safety distance DL > 1 m from the crane structure and obstacles.
DL
COMBINED MOVEMENTS
The crane controls can carry out some movements at the same time by moving two levers
simultaneously. The speed of each movement decreases/increases when using two functions at t he
same time. In case of proportional main valve and variable displacement pump the speed of each
movement is constant when using two functions at the same time.
Most attention must be paid when releasing/operating a control because the speed of the other
function could increase/decrease suddenly: it is recommended to not use more than one lever at the
same time.
