Cleaning
To simplify cleaning, rinse the processing bowl, lid, food pusher, plate carrier, knife blade
and reversible plate attachments immediately after use to prevent food from drying
onto them.
Danger of personal injury due to unintended use .
ALWAYS unplug the 3 Cup Food Processor from the electrical outlet and allow the parts
to stop completely before disassembling the unit for cleaning.
Danger of being cut due to improper handling .
Exercise caution when handling, assembling or disassembling the various attachments
of the 3 Cup Food Processor as they are extremely sharp and may result in personal
injury.
Risk of damaging the food processor due to improper handling .
The accessories and attachments of the food processor need to be washed by hand
only;
DO NOT wash any parts of the food processor in the dishwasher as exposure to harsh
detergents and hot water temperatures will damage and shorten the life of
the plastic parts.
DO NOT
use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring
pads to clean any part of the product. NEvER immerse the power base of
the food processor in water or any other liquid.
The food processor needs to be cleaned after each use:
1.
Place the power base on a stable, level surface. Ensure the 3 Cup Food Processor
speed control knob is turned to the
OFF
position, and that the power supply cord
is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2.
Begin disassembling the accessories by removing the lid from the bowl and then
the knife blade or reversible plate with plate carrier attachment from the drive
shaft. Ensure the food pusher is removed from the feed tube.
3. Unlock the bowl from the power base by turning the bowl slightly to the right (i.e.,
clockwise).
4.
Hand wash the lid, knife blade or reversible plate attachment, plate carrier, bowl,
and food pusher using warm, soapy water. DO NOT use the dishwasher to wash
any accessory or attachment of the food processor. Rinse and dry the parts thoroughly
before storing.
