With ownership of an AMAZONE fertiliser broadcaster comes automatic
access to AMAZONE’s ‘’fertiliser testing service“ to enable the spreader
to be operated in the most cost effective and environmentally safe manner.
AMAZONE’s ‘’fertiliser testing service“ determines the individual
spreading characteristics of a specific batch of fertiliser from a 3 kg fertiliser
sample received and provides setting  recommendations at the exact
working width required. AMAZONE’s  ‘’fertiliser testing service’’ is
especially recommended when uncertainties prevail regarding fertiliser
origin, fertiliser description or fertiliser condition or when the fertiliser has
not yet been included in this setting chart.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the individual spreading
characteristics of the fertiliser have a big influence on the working width
and spread rate. For this reason the setting values can only be taken as
a guide.

The spreading properties depend on:

Deviations of the physical properties (bulk density, granule size,
surface finish, etc.) - even within the same type and brand.

Varying fertiliser condition caused by the influences of weather or of
its storage conditions.

For this reason it is impossible to guarantee that a batch of fertiliser even
with the same name and from the same manufacturer will have the same
spreading characteristics as that of the fertiliser stated in the setting chart.

The stated setting recommendations for the lateral distribution refer
solely  to the distribution of the weight (spread rate) and not  to the
nutrient distribution (this especially refers to fertiliser blends).
