Advice for avoiding spreading errors:
1.
Store fertiliser properly (i.e. in a dry place and separated by type and
manufacturer).
2.
Set the machine from either data found in this setting chart or according
to recommendations provided by
AMAZONE's
fertiliser testing
service.
3.
Prior to starting spreading conduct a spread rate check.
4.
When using unknown types of fertiliser, as well as also just as a routine
check, the working widths should be verified with the aid of the mobile
spread width test kit (option).
Explanation for the symbols used
The PTO speed is generally 720 r.p.m. Possible variations from
this are stated in the chart where appropriate.
Working width [m]
Distance towards the
field's boundary [m]
1/2 the working width
Distance towards the
field's edge [m]
1/2 the working width
Mounting height: a = 90 cm, b = 93 cm.
Advice on the flow property factor:
Prior to a calibration test with a weigh cell calibration system the relevant flow
factor should be entered as the provisional calibration factor. Please refer
to instruction manual for AMADOS III D or .
If a manual spread rate setting is necessary (e.g. in case of a defect
with the electronic system) the shutter positions should be taken as
per normal from the setting chart.
