10.1.15 Checking the hub bearing
INTERVAL
Every 1000 operating hours
or
Every 12 months
1.
Lower the running gear into transport position.
2.
If the check is performed on hard ground
consisting of stone or concrete,
place a wooden or rubber underlay under the
coulters.
3.
Raise the running gear into working position until
the wheels can rotate freely.
4.
Check the bearing clearance of the wheel hubs
with levers.
5.
If the wheel hub bearing has play,
have the wheel hub bearing adjusted by a
specialist workshop.

10.1.16 Checking the brake pads
INTERVAL
Every 200 operating hours
or
Every 3 months
1.
Check the brake pads through the inspection
holes.
2.
If the brake pads have reached the wear limit of
2 mm, are damaged or have heavy soiling,
have the brake pads replaced by a specialist
workshop.
