10.4 Work commencement
1. Put the implement into working position at
the beginning of the field.
2. Adjust the length of the top link (Fig. 235/1)
The setting length can be found in the sec-
tion "Coupling - Pack top seed drill and soil
tillage implement", page 126.
3. Tighten the lock nut for the top link length
adjustment.

The implement

with RoTeC-Pro Control coulters is aligned
straight when the top link length is properly
adjusted.

with TwinTeC double disc coulter is aligned
such that the parallel-guided coulters are
horizontal during operation when the top
link length is properly adjusted.
The top link (Fig. 236/1) and lower link
(Fig. 236/2) run parallel to the ground. This
ensures that the coulters have enough
clearance at the top and bottom during op-
eration, with equal coulter pressure on the
short and the long coulter.
