Conversion from transport to operational position
WARNING
Instruct people to leave the swivel area of machine's extension
arm before you fold the machine's extension arm out or in.
•
Align the tractor and machine straight on a flat surface before
you fold the machine's extension arm out or in!
•
Always raise the machine fully before you fold the machine's
extension arm out or in. Only when the machine is fully raised do
the soil cultivating tools have sufficient ground clearance and are
thus protected against damage.
Catros 3001 and 3501
1. Lower the machine.
2. With the machine lowered, reverse a little
on the field.
3. Pull the release cord from the tractor and
drive forwards.

Unlock the disc rows.
→
Driving forwards with the machine lowered
moves the discs to operational position.

Catros 4001:
The transport position corresponds to the opera-
tional position! No conversion is necessary!

1. Raise the machine so that there is sufficient
ground clearance to allow unobstructed
folding out.
2. Unlock the stop valve for preventing unin-
tentional unfolding action via the cable
winch,
and simultaneously
actuate the tractor control unit
blue
.
→
Fold out the machine.
3. Lower the machine.
