Intended Use
• The product is designed for take temperature
measurements up to:

1832 °F (1000 °C) when using infrared
radiation (IR)
w
2498 °F (1370 °C) when using thermocouple
• The product measures the surface temperature
only. It does not measure the internal temperate
of an object.
• The temperature is measured by:
w
Using infrared radiation (IR) and scanning the
infrared energy an object emit, or by:
w
Using thermocouple and getting into a direct
contact with an object's surface.
• The product is especially suited for measuring
the temperature of hot, difficult to reach or
moving objects.
• The product cannot measure through
transparent surfaces, for example glass or
water).
